Diversity in research

Research on socio-cultural phenomena, causes and consequences of ongoing social differentiation and on the question of how social order is shaped under these conditions is pursued in (inter)disciplinary projects at our university in: Sociology (of Gender), History, Theological Women’s and Gender Studies, Social and Gender Pedagogy, Cultural Anthropology, Human Resource Management, Law, American Studies, Linguistics, (Historical) Demography, Gerontology (Age/ing Studies), and many more. When creating a diversity-sensitive environment to study and work we benefit from research activities as well as knowledge-based discussions. Findings from research projects flow into research-led support services as well as into sensitising measures and courses.
