The goals of the diversity-related strategy of the University of Graz include
- to create ideal learning, research and working environments for all,
- to base its actions on the principles of anti-discrimination, equality and equal opportunities
- removing barriers for disadvantaged groups,
- reflect on their own privileges,
- to question prevailing norms (the employee, the student, the scientist, etc.),
- show solidarity with disadvantaged groups,
- dismantle discriminatory, exclusionary and power-preserving mechanisms,
- to value and promote the diversity of experience, skills and potential and thus

contribute to organizational development.
