WHAT?

The goals of the diversity-related strategy of the University of Graz include

• to create ideal learning, research and working environments for all,
• to base its actions on the principles of anti-discrimination, equality and equal opportunities
• removing barriers for disadvantaged groups,
• reflect on their own privileges,
• to question prevailing norms (the employee, the student, the scientist, etc.),
• show solidarity with disadvantaged groups,
• dismantle discriminatory, exclusionary and power-preserving mechanisms,
• to value and promote the diversity of experience, skills and potential and thus
• contribute to organizational development.
